Focusing on Benefits, Middle Market Commercial Lines business, the affluent Personal Lines market, and Professional Liability. Our Client takes pride in providing their clients with knowledgeable, personable, and efficient service and a staff with an excellent working environment with investments in their professional growth.
The Employee Benefits Account Manager will work with on a staff of 4 to provide efficient, professional, and courteous service to the firm’s clients and producers. The successful candidate must have a working knowledge of group benefits, products and associated underwriting acumen as well as supervisory experience. Products include Medical, Dental, LTD, STD, Long-Term Care and Life Insurance. Candidate must be service oriented, self-motivated, a team player and licensed by the California Department of Insurance. Agency experience preferred. As a highly automated agency, experience with GBM (Group Benefits Manager), AMS, carrier web sites and Microsoft products are a definite plus. Excellent compensation and benefits.
Major Responsibilities Include:
· Enrollments and handling of book of business/Account rounding, where possible.
· Assist producers in processing/servicing new and in force business.
